I think the relationship between Peekay and his Mother will get worse in a way. It is easy to tell that Peekay often disagrees with his mother in particular what she believes in. I think that because they don’t make an effort to understand each other they’re just going to drift further apart.
ReplyDeleteI think the authors intention for describing the events of the town’s cultural concert was to make sure we understood what was happening and why.
I think that as the story goes on Peekay and his mother will have there ups and downs but in the end they will be happy together. They will have ups and downs because Peekay dosent like what his mum belives in(God) And Peekays um dosent like the things that he chooses to do.
ReplyDelete1.I think that their relationship will be very tense and bad. I think this because Peekay’s mum is trying to full Peekay’s head with stuff about god and everything and Peekay wants to learn about boxing and all of that stuff. They won’t really mix with the son and mother relationship that they should have.
ReplyDelete1 i think the relationship between Peekay and his mother will just get worse as the story unfolds.
ReplyDelete2. the authors intentions are to show that the two races in the town don't get along
I think that doc was arrested because he is German, and he might be a German spy. It ties in with the intentions of the war going on and all of that.
ReplyDeleteI think that the police man lied to everyone to say don’t believe this man he is a German and we don’t trust Germans, and so he didn’t get in trouble for harming anybody.
I think that they were so quick to think that doc was a spy because he was a German.
It was to say like that doc may not be a spy but he is still a prisoner and a German.
1. I think that Peekay would start rebelling against his mother because he would of been tired of doing all the stuff that his Mum believes in which he doesn’t like at all and his Mum just didn’t listen.
ReplyDelete2. The Authors intentions might of been to show independence and rights that everyone has which some people forget about other people’s rights and go around doing the complete independence.
I think that further in the story Peekay and his mum will have a falling out and have a real bad time in their relationship but then eventually past through the bad times and have a happy ending.
ReplyDeleteI think that the author’s intention is that you have to be the same colour or race to get along in the same town.
I think that the relationship between peekay and his mother is only going to get worse because peekay wants different things to his mother. Peekays mother wants him to believe in god and peekay wants to be a boxer and do his own thing but his mother doesn’t approve.
ReplyDeleteI think that the authors purpose for writing this part of the story is to show that the different races think themselves higher than others and they are more important.
