I watched it and it was boring. It had no hook and if someone watched the trailer they wouldn’t read the book or watch the movie when it is an awesome book and possibly a good movie too.
I like the book trailer. It makes the book look awesome because of the creative and interesting language they used. Especially the words humiliation and abandonment.
1. Read the novel in its entirety 2. Discuss key ideas about plot, character, author intention at various points through the novel 3. Predict outcomes prior to reading, make assumptions about characters based on information to date. 4. Discover the history behind events/setting by conducting further research (into the social fabric of South Africa in the 1930's and later).

ReplyDeleteI reckon that if you were to watch this book trailer before you had read the book you wouldn't read the book. I found it boring and didn't like it.
ReplyDeleteI dislike the trailer because it isn't that informative and you don't really get what the book is about.
